Favorite
I like a lot of things about this class. First of all, this class is an online class which make it very flexible on the time. I do not have to sit there and work on something during the day. I can choose when I want to take a test, which give me time to prepare myself. So, I think that the flexibility is one of my favorites part of this class. I also enjoy the comments on blog as well. I think that by making comments on other people blog allow me to see what another people think, and get different ideas. However, my least favorite thing in this class is that I never really get the chance to know my classmates. Since on the blog, everyone use an alias name, no one know who the other person is. One thing that this class can improve on is the last group project. I do enjoyed meeting my group members, but due to the fact that this is an online class. It was difficult to set up a meeting time for everyone to meet. I think that maybe in the future, people can do a conference call or webcam even. It was just difficult to agree on a time that everyone is free. However, I really enjoy taking this class, it was a fun experience for me.

Hi puppypearl! I like that this class is very flexible on time. I love not having to all the way to school from where I live just to sit in on a lecture! Although I did not like that the blog post that we had to do had to be 12 hours apart! It was sometimes annoying because sometimes I would forget about the blog posts on a thursday or something. I totally agree that the last group project was somethting that can be improved on because it was super difficult to find a good time to meet up with all of the group members. I liked it when we could all just meet up in a chatroom or on a webcam. Thanks for the post! It was interesting to read
ReplyDeleteIt seems like students all felt that same about online class, it was great because it was online and not in a classroom that gave us much more flexibility with out time...however that sometimes meant forgetting about assignments, not meeting classmates, and when it came to group work, TIME! haha I did enjoy the comments and writing comment because it was a way to get to know, like you said, their perspective and see how they understood the concept. Our group used the chat room, which was helpful when finding a topic and we could've agreed on it real quick instead of waiting for everyone to reply to an email...maybe desire2learn can set up chat rooms...hmm haha
ReplyDeleteI really like your post because we have the same opinions. My most favorite thing in this class is time efficiency, and my least favorite is also the communication with the classmates. I did not like it when I had to work with people without knowing their faces. Furthermore, some people would prefer to meet online, and they did not want to have offline meeting. I found it was more effective if we knew one another. I enjoyed my last assignment because I got a chance to find out who my groupmates are. I think this class is a fun experience for me too.
ReplyDeleteHi I agree with your post. I think the whole class thinks and feels the same way. Everyone is having the same comments. I also liked the class because it was online. I didn't like the fact that we had to meet for the final project. It was so hard and difficult to set a time and date that would match everyone's schedules. It was exciting to meet your group members face to face but it was also hard. I agree with you about the not sitting in class part that was one of the reasons I really liked this class. The class might have been a little better if we could have seen eachothers faces. I actually liked that we didn't know who was commenting on our blogs so people wouldn't be to offended if someone gave the good or bad feedback.
